Alternate Ending for Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage

Wrote my own ending for the Murakami novel, "Colourless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage", as it ended on a cliffhanger.

In the book, Murakami's vivid descriptions and unique writing style provided a point of view that really pulled me in, so much that I wasn't only seeing the world behind the characters' eyes but actually delving into his mind, and becoming him. Through things like dreams, dark thoughts and a lot of ruminating in deep introspection, a deep layer of vulnerability is exposed, leading to a connection that transcends the vicarious, and by the end of the book I was really rooting for the character - and the cliffhanger ending left me somewhat unsatisfied; I had to imagine my own ending for it, and put it down into words.
