Zoe Williams has it all, she is at her second year of neurology resident at Harvard university hospital. Life is good and busy. She loves doing what she does and occasionally she paints. They aren't normal paintings, she keeps painting those dark blue and intimidating eyes she mostly have nightmares of. As Neurone surgeon, everyone thinks she has no life and the only time she has over is to sleep, little they know that she has been suffering from insomniac disorders and sometimes even when she falls asleep those eyes hunt her down.

When Antoine Mercer Beaufourd left Harvard behind medical school, he knew his time to live up his dream job was over and his going to be taking the over world and under world empire his father created. He simply didn't have a choice, he needs to protect, his sister, ill and fading dad and all those women brought to him as prostitutes. When he left Harvard, he didn't smashed his future into pieces but he also left the his soul and heart with the one and only woman he could die for. He didn't just killed all her hopes to be together but he also burned the bridges of her heart to stop any other man taking his own place. Yeah he is a bastard who can't have Zoe Williams but he won't let anyone else be seen the way she once looked at him.
