Dying Embers

"Piss off you annoying brat!"

"No you're hurt Nate, I'm not leaving" despite his harsh words I stay put on my knees in front of him, cleaning his wounds.

As I place the antiseptic wipe on his grazed knuckles he hisses in pain,

"Cry baby."

Nate; a harsh, selfish, egotistical jerk.

Cara; a cold, impatient, sarcastic brat.

What more of a disaster could you expect when you put both together?

It is definitely not a smooth rollercoaster that they both had expected when bumping into each other in the most unlikely way.

Both hiding secrets.

Both sharing their own lies.

And both the most obnoxious, whiney human beings to exist.

Nothing is for sure, but what is is it's going to be hell of a bumpy ride.

However, perhaps they'll both find peace at the end of the tunnel, with each other.
