Ellie, a badass teenager, is left on her own when her and Joel get separated in a Clicker attack. With nowhere to go, and no one to turn to, she looks for the light. Constantly on the run from what remains in this god forsaken world she will be forced to grow up in this hell. Join her and Joel in their adventures across this apocalyptic world in their search for each other.

Ellie found traveling with Joel to be both rewarding and simultaneously frustrating. It was like talking to a cold, emotionless brick wall sometimes. So imagine her excitement when they run into another group of travelers heading in the same direction, and they agree to travel with Ellie and Joel. The most exciting part? The other group has a girl their age. This is essentially a Ellie/Reader slow-burn fanfiction. It's also a fix-it fic in regards to the Last of Us Part 2 because I have personal issues with it.
