Ashley Bates is your normal teenage girl but her world gets turned upside down, when her parents announced they were getting divorced. It got even worse when she was told she would be moving with her mother to a town six hours away, there goes her chances of making Captain of the soccer team. Soccer and family were the only two things that Ashley focused on throughout high school, now she was starting her junior year and she'll be in a new town, new home, and having to try out for a new team...But during that try out in that new town... is when Ashley laid eyes on her.
Ashley had a few boyfriends over the years, but never thought about another girl in that way, till she heard Emily talk, till she saw Emily smile, everything Ashley once knew is about to change. In this story there will be soccer, family. love. hate. heartaches, and figuring out who you really are, but thats what high school is known for right?

Riley's past isn't something most kids go through. Bad things happened, but when she got older, her dad decided it was best to move, and get away from something that seemed to haunt Riley. They moved from Arizona to California. About 1/4 into her junior year, Riley had to go to a new school, and make new friends. She didn't really care about having friends though, as long as she was able to play soccer, she would be okay. Soccer had always been there for her, when her mom died, when she didn't have anyone else, when she was in a bad mood. It was always there for her to play. She didn't need anyone else. That changed when she met Brooke Eckmann. Brooke is also a junior in high school, and is the varsity teams goalie. When they first meet on the field, it was something different. She couldn't stop thinking about her. It was something both of them had never felt before.
