The cards lay open on the table. A race against time starts to reach the mountain before Durin's Day and open the secret entrance. However, the enemy is hot on the Company's heels and can strike any moment.
Personal problems seem to appear as well: Myrna has inexplicable feelings every time Legolas is around and Rigmor's powers take an interesting turn.
But the greatest problem of them all: Is Smaug even willing to be saved?
