A personal short story I started a little bit ago, around the time I turned sixteen, about my horrific experience turning fifteen. I recently added to the story when turning seventeen, dug me deeper down.

A 17yrs old girl called heather goes through mental breakdown at night for the past year while no one notices and every time she gets better people around here makes her feel worse than she actually is . Then someone started appearing in here dreams that actually gave her hope , he started giving what she wanted , a hug and someone to talk to . She starts searching for that person because she was 100% sure that this person existed because she had hope . But her parents stood like a wall in front of her but she didn't stop . - Part 2 - Her depression and anxiety comes back but this time it is so much worse than what she had . The passenger window rolls down, and I spot the most unexpected person seated behind the wheel. "Get in" comes out his voice, and I must've stood there agape for a few moments because next comes his rhetorical question. "Are you getting in or continuing walking in the rain?" Eyebrows raised expectantly. Two seniors that only have one thing in common, going to the same school. They hate each other because of their friend groups and past. As the two seventeen-year-old get forced to hang out together, things turn more and more complicated. Alissa wonders if Ryder still remembers or if she's just the one holding on to bad memories with him. She has always had a thing for him, but has he had a thing for her? Ryder was a part of the bad boy groups, the stoners that hung out outside of stores or outside of the school. His friends were annoying and always tended to mess with the girls. He's one of the more quiet kind but continues hanging out with them. Alissa is a part of the quiet group, that doesn't mean that she doesn't stick up for herself or argues with people least every day. She hangs out with at least two girls every day because she has no one else to stick with. She didn't mind, she didn't necessarily need many friends. People didn't like her because of her ways of saying the truth whenever it needed to be told. But this isn't your typical sassy and bad boy story, not at all. This book contains ; - body shaming. - toxic family. - purposely starving herself. - mature language - anxiety; anxiety and panic attacks.

It started with a coffee. Don't all good love stories involve coffee in some way or another? Charlotte is a college student living what she believes is a perfect life but why isn't she happy? She has a boyfriend, Jack who she's been with since she was an early teen. She has a massive group of friends. She's doing well at school From the outside life looks perfect.. Except her boyfriend acts like a totally different person since joining the new friendship group The massive group of friends, don't seem to like her. She's not like them and they know it. She's at a college that she didn't want to go to. Studying a degree she hates, because Jack was adamant, that they go there. And why would she argue against him? He's her forever, right? Life is mediocre but love is love and she does love Jack. Until she meets Liam. He's sits with a coffee at her job, enjoying a book. What are these sparks she's feeling? It's just excitement from meeting a new friend with similar interests right? Lies. Betrayals and Loss. Everything comes to light one night forcing Charlotte to accept new realities and maybe not everything is as perfect as they seem to be.

Your mind can adapt to such bizarre circumstances. It is a tool capable of extraordinary things, and in turn, it is an inevitable vulnerability in every person's system that can easily be provoked. A mind that can easily be conquered, the truest victim of pain. Despite this, it will continue to provide. It will sustain and ease. Always. For Darryl, it had been a struggle, separating the cruelty of life from his temple, his haven, his sanity. The burdens kept piling on and on, it felt as if there's no one else to turn to. An oblivious teen, an oblivious mind. He is, without a doubt, as desperate for change as they come. Though the road towards wisdom seems treacherous, his heart and mind shall unite, and together they shall guide Darryl to a pleasurable, if not enlightening, path. And once they do, not only will Darryl feel the significant change in his nightly life, he won't even know whether or not it had already started. *A Wattys Shorts entry*
