My Haunted Mate

I walk down the isle of books. As I graze my fingers across the spine of the books who never gotten loved. Left there to rot. I smile as I grab one of those books, titled, "Haunted In The Fog." I turn the cover to reveal the first page 'Haunted In The Fog, By: Helena Aprilcoy (not a real book) 'Death. Death is all I know, and it's all the controls me.' I read in my mind. When I am interrupted by a chuckle that belongs to a male, from the deep crackle of it. The chuckle was captivating none the less. I look up to see a male flirting with the school slut. Pretty bad when it's your first day here. And you already know who the school slut it....yikes. I mentally laugh. I try to focus back on the book but I soon get annoyed by their constant flirt. I roll my eyes, and grab my bag and the book so I can check it out of my school library. I try and walk by them without my interfering, but my clumsy self....my arms grazes his. And before I can get a centimeter away. I am pinned against the bookshelf. My bag drops as well as my book. I squeal from the sudden movement. I squeeze my eyes tighter than I thought I could ever do. As well as move my head so it is facing towards the ground. Through all of this, I can feel his constant state on me. I stand waiting for a hit that never comes. "MINE!" He growls, hang on growls? I finally speak up. "I-I-I'm sorry I don't under-" I am cut off...
