No fuel. No lights. No heat. Everything that once used power is gone. Everyone is fighting for food and water. Cars... those are extremely difficult to get. Dogs, cats, and other pets roam the streets in packs. Solar power only got us so far. I hope this could just end. I hope.

Theories of Global Warming
Global warming is a huge problem for the world, and it's increasing by the day.... Even in Ohio. The winters, which are supposed to be freezing, are as hot as it would be down south. Buildings catch on fire multiple times a week, and still there are people taking no action whatsoever to delay the Earth from dying. I have studied business, economics, commodity trading, carpentry, and other functions within our society, all which have led me to write this story, the story of a burning son. So what is The Burning Son all about? It's a quest to change the way we perceive our global society, and an effort to change the way we look at our history and our future. Our society has operated efficiently and progressively for centuries. I looked out of the window. The huge window had bars on it. It was designed in a way only I could see outside world. That's what I could only do. I could never live there. Why? There were two huge arms wrapped around me like chains as I stared at the window blankly. "Mate, I can still feel your dislike towards me. Tell me, what should I do to gain your affection. I'll do everything you say or buy anything for you. I love you, mate. Name it" I stared at his wolf eyes filled with love which made my heart churn. I pressed my urge to puke and stared blankly at him. "Free me" "I told you. I'll never leave you. How dare you think about going away mate. In a apocalyptic world, no one has a soul. All children are born from either abuse, or women raise them to abuse/manipulate. The earth is almost completely desolate, as people trick and murder each other to get what they want. The only thing left that gives a semblance of dreams is: a power that gives control over earth to anyone who touches the item. People form teams to attempt finding the thing, to destroy all life they see as unnecessary, they further trick and murder each other to get what they want, including the thing... The search for destruction destroys everyone who reaches to the power.Complete
The War of the Future
The year is 2050 and humankind is in an age of prosperity. The Sahara desert is now a lush farmland, the amazon is twice its original size, poverty is almost non existent, all cars are now electric, food is grown in huge urban farms, cancer has been cured and great strife's are being made technologically. The future of civilisation has never looked brighter, but in March 2050, a ginormous army of 500,000 people has appeared out of a huge ball of electricity, the size of Manhattan and their leader, General Hunter Padlock, speaks of a world where there are only 1 billion humans left, a world where humanity has fought a 40 year long war with malevolent machines, intent on butchering all humans, a world where humankind is suffering from starvation, desperation, panic and despair. I never believed it would end like this. I was just watching Netflix when the power went out, then before I knew it everyone was screaming, then the school began to shake and fell to the ground. Only three kids in my entire school were spared, four if you count me. I found a group of people heading to the east coast for a boat trip to a supposed safe haven in India. They died of disease days later. I found their bodies by the river. But I guess this is my life now, surviving with a scared boy, a pair of twins and trying to make it to the next day. Remains of Humanity
After a nuclear war nearly in 2150 the whole Earth has become uninhabitable for humans. There are some major cities which are still running but have very scarce resources such as food, water and oil. There are tall, thick walls protecting people from the outside world, surrounding the whole city and there is a ceiling, blocking the radiation from seeping in as air is filtered through the roof. The year is now 2205 which is the beginning for Earth to become how it was before. There are a group of people called The Warriors who go out and try to look for resources, facing death daily. A seventeen year old boy tries to steal food for his friend, he gets caught and is sentenced to death. The only way he could get out is if he joined The Warriors to search for a mythical jungle which is rumored to be flourishing in food and water. The journey is going to be very dangerous and death can come at any corner. There are bandit clans, somehow surviving outside of the walls and new types of animals unseen from humans that they didn't know existed. He will meet new friends, make some enemies and will be manipulated to do some really idiotic things, will he survive the journey and become a hero? Or will he die anyway?Complete
