~SHORT STORY WRITTEN FOR COLLEGE CREATIVE WRITING. ~ There was this one time I saw her walking out of the Shrewsbury Library located on Fifth street. She was carrying a stack of books that I couldn't quite make out, but I imagined them being classics. After I saw her with those books I could tell she was an avid reader; I could picture her so easily in a quaint coffee shop with Dandelion Wine nestled close to her chest, as she rested her black framed glasses on the bridge of her pointed nose and sipped on her caramel coffee. I figured she had glasses and liked caramel. Girls like her always wore black framed glasses and drank caramel flavored coffee. I once tried a coffee macchiato-that's any girl's favorite drink, isn't it? - and I know they aren't more than 5 dollars at Starbucks. I'd waste 5 dollars and buy a caramel drink for her ALL RIGHTS RESERVED Thanks Skeletunclique for the great cover

(Exactly what it sounds like. It's really not a love story. ) "Do you like me?" You're straight forward I forget that sometimes. I open the drink and look at it as if it were the most interesting thing in the world. I sigh, it's a habit now, and take a gulp. "So?" You ask again. I put the drink on a table next to your bed and sit properly. "I don't know." I say honestly. You didn't seem fazed but you did seem a bit confused. "What do you mean you don't know?" I shrug and decide that the floor is the next best thing to look at. "I like you." I laugh at this and see you don't. "Don't say that. You don't like me. You don't." I say as my smile fell and I looked to your eyes, mine were filled with sadness. But enjoy the book :)
