"Welcome to The Fandom Society for Lost Children. My name is Rena and I will be your division's searcher. The FSLC is dedicated to helping children and teens who are either orphaned, abused, or overall just do not feel like they belong in this world. The MAMA or Machine for Attributing Magical Association will help us find somewhere for you to really belong. Be aware, however. The MAMA is not without its risks. Finding the right world may require going through multiple worlds that are not agreeable, which may also be dangerous. If you are too afraid to take the leap into worlds that are so incredible that they are beyond your wildest dreams, even if here they only exist in books, leave now. Otherwise, please continue to follow me to the dormitories."

Jessamine- or Jessa for short- has never felt like she belonged. She's had a hard life, and that's not exaggerating. Her father became an abusive creep after her mother died, she was bullied constantly at school, and to put the icing on the cake she had to work for a cruel Restaurant owner at the young age of 11. One day, however, when fleeing her bullies, she enters a small bookshop. All the best thing happen in bookshops. Jessa gets swept up into an incredible secret society of people like her and begins her quest to find the place where she can finally be happy. But something is happening with the MAMA, and suddenly it's up to Jessa to fix it before she and the rest of the people like her get stuck in a place where they don't belong.
