Amelia stared in front of her, focused on her destination, rather than the anxiety creeping up inside of her. Sure, she was a trained assassin, but she had the intense feeling someone was watching her. She pushed the heavy cart that had a large cloth draped over it, concealing the corpse inside. She walked out of the building through the back door. Once back there, she pushed the man out of the cart, hiding him in an alley-way. She knew the cops would find him, but better late than sooner. She dug through his coat pocket and found what she was looking for. Super Soldier serum. She grinned.

I walked down the hallway quickly as I tried to get to class. Suddenly, a hand was classed over my mouth and I was pulled into a dark closet. I kicked the person in the knee and was released from their grip. "Shit that hurt," says a voice I know too well. "Wha- what?," I stutter. "Fine, let me tell you a story. I used to be able to see the creatures clearly but an accident happened when I was younger that damaged one of my eyes. Now they're just blurry to me. But you . . . you can see them clearly and see rare objects. I want you to join me. Be my eyes." He waited again for a few moments for a response he still didn't receive. A thought occurred to him. What if she was hoping that he'd just leave the room? He chuckled quietly to himself in amusement. "I'm not going anywhere. But you know what? It's fine if you decline my offer again. Just know that if you don't come with me, you could come home to find that your parents are dead because of a work accident or some other natural cause. You wouldn't want that would you?" He paused just one more time and began speaking again. "If you come with me today, your parents won't have to die. I can keep them safe. If you don't give me an answer, I'll have my creature kill your parents now and I'll still take you. Do you want dead parents or living parents? It's your choice."
