Arthur Dennis, son of the legendary Captain James Dennis, has always looked up to his father, as all young boys do in their youth. The adventures they had together throughout Arthur's childhood were endless and were never anything but fun, swashbuckling and horsing around their home town of Absedy. If this wasn't fun enough, Arthur enjoyed dancing and singing with his father's crew on their voyages to different islands, helping them and scavenging to find any people in need.
That's what Arthur thought his father did.
On one fateful day on his James Dennis' ship, the King's Defender, a furious thunderstorm cracks the ship in half, and Arthur narrowly escapes.
Arthur, now living out of a life raft for some weeks and on the verge of death, finds land and begins to scavenge for life supplies.
Until Arthur finds out he's not alone.

If you haven't go read, "Broken Heart" that is probably one of the most underrated stories I've written thus far, cause this is a sequel to that story. "You know your safe here." He didn't mean it as a question but simply a statement. Letting out a little laugh I fully looked at him. "May we sail far tonight because the land is no place for me and there is no where on it I shall ever be safe." "But you are safe in the ocean?" He asked, frowning slightly. I shook my head. "I am destined to die by drowning. It is why we left the ocean though manny believed if we had stayed then my destiny may have changed." "How can you drown where you can breath under water?" He said looking very confused. "I can only breath under water when I want to, witch makes me think that when I die it will be because I choose to." I told him as I began to drift off. ~~~ When a half mer held captive for most of his life finaly escapes he finds that freedom is better than he dreamed, yet with both the fake king of land and the real king of sea hunting him he knows he only has so long to enjoy it. Yet he has one hope, find Eric, the only suviving member of the true royal family and restore him to the throne. Then and only then he could be safe somwhere. But with only a ship full of missfit pirates and their Captine Praxis to help him he realises that there isnt much hope as time run's out.Complete
