The Quest for the Crown of Midas

Azaylia Mecronia is one of the few people left unharmed as a sickness spreads through the lands of “The Demented One.” Her mother, and grandmother, being one of these victims began to hallucinate that Azaylia was a young girl again and told her the story she hadn’t heard for years. She told of a map she had written down to find the mystical item of her fantasies and tasked her daughter to go find it.
Along the way she meets up with Handsomely mysterious boy named Garth Zuckerbee. A year older then her self he lost his sight about two years prior in an accident that he doesn’t wish to disclose, all he says is that he made the wrong choice and had to sacrifice something, that just so happened to be his sight. He knows a lot about the Legends surrounding the mysterious item in question and decides to help her find it, helping her through the story’s clues and riddles as much as he can, even if he can’t stand her constantly happy attitude and snarky comments. Azaylia reluctantly accepts his help even though his attitude is less then friendly and he is about as much fun as a broken twig.
Will the pair find this mysterious item they seek? If they do what will they uncover? Will finding it help the kingdom, or leave everything to chance as new evidence behind “The Demented One’s” rule comes into light? Could Garth even regain his sight? Set in their ways will the succeed in their Quest, The Quest for the Crown of Midas?
