The leading chain of super specialty hospitals in Eastern India - AMRI Hospital - recently launched its mobile application. With the goal of making healthcare seamless and effective for patients, AMRI Personal Health Record (PHR) was launched on December. This initiative has been lauded by many experts - including AMRI staff and its medical care seekers.
Patients using this app will just have to send important details such as the solution they are seeking and their medical history. If required, they may also have to upload documents, medical reports, etc. After feeding the server with necessary details, AMRI Hospital app will provide a broad range of healthcare experts suitable for that need.
The app also offers free cloud storage that can be used to save previous reports and prescriptions - nullifying any chance of losing this valuable information.
Rupak Barua, Group CEO of AMRI Hospitals, stated at the inaugural function held at AMRI Hospital Kolkata, "We are proud to be at the forefront of this innovative technology with this mobile app."
Apart from eminent healthcare specialists and AMRI staff, well-known film actor was also present at the event. The actor said, "Keeping in mind our hectic schedule, Amri app is not only going to save time but it transcends into a new era of care."
AMRI might not be the first one to launch a healthcare app but they're certainly one of very few who managed to deliver a credible software solution. Such apps are part of futuristic medical care and in next few years, the number of users is bound to increase exponentially.
