Daniel James Howell, a boy constantly moving because he is bullied everywhere he goes, mental illnesses and father never putting his mind at rest.
Philip Michael Lester, a boy who normally hides in the shadows, wanting to be friends with all but is never game enough to talk. One day, a new kid walks in, already getting bullied and speaks to the teacher and the class for the first time ever, protecting this emotional wreck.
