Mia Ingram, a 16 year old girl from Columbia, South Carolina, lives a pretty regular life. Then she meets Jacob O'Neal Latimore, a gorgeous, talented, young artist from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They fall in love quickly and soon become the center of gossip and magazines. As they take a trip to the Bahamas for Spring Break, things spiral out of control.
