In January 2017, a company called the Human Biological Enhancement Foundation (HBEF) has unveiled a miracle in both the medical profession and our world as a whole.
A drug that gives anyone access to 1 of 12 different super powers.
Now this all seems fine until the funding dries up for this project and the drugs are supplied through the black market.
With a seemingly unbeatable amount of super criminals flooding the streets, can the creator reign in his work? Or will the world as we know it be a distant memory?

My Misconceptions
As an orphan, Emma Johnson never exactly believed in miracles or magic of any kind. Or even the proclaimed superheroes everyone loved. That all changed the fateful night when she was mugged and attacked. At that point in her life, she had come to the conclusion that she wouldn't amount to much, and as she lied half-conscious on the ground, she couldn't help but think that she deserved this kind of death. She didn't want it, but it seemed appropriate to someone with nothing to call her own. Then in swoops in her own personal superman, saving her and taking her back to his place where she wakes up the next day. She is then surprised to find that everything she thought was fake before, was suddenly coming to life before her eyes.
