Reigning The Ruler

Mary, Queen of Scots, got engaged to Francis, next in line for the French throne, when both of them were kids. Now, her she has arrived at the French court to marry Francis, the man who holds the key to stability of her homeland and maybe the key to her heart. The only thing is that she does so with four ladies and her sister, Aurora.

Aurora is unlike other girls of her age. She is not interested in finding a man of honour and title and getting married to him and be a good wife. She has really short hair, does not like to dress up and most importantly she knows how to fight: with or without a weapon, which is indeed very unlady like.

All she wishes to do is to protect Mary as she gets married to Francis and be by her side at all times and maybe better her fighting skills.

But she never expected to fall for the kind, funny and not-at-all spoilt Prince of France. And she never expected to find friends at the court. She never imagined being the one reigning the ruler.
