Blinding light gathers at the ends of his fingertips, shimmering brightly, as if he were made of gold. With a twist of his head, he could glance around, taking in the white space before him. White space was what comforted him. But he only saw it in his dreams. When he awoke, it was black again. Xavier is blind.
