The Battle for Baiardo

Baiardo: beautiful one day, full of intrigue the next. Juliet Carlsen is taking some much needed time out in the tiny northern Italian village of Baiardo where she hopes to find peace and quiet and perhaps some perspective after years of caring for her terminally ill mother. The sunshine, serenity and general sense of ‘la dolce vita’ are weaving their magic; the attentions of a handsome, if hot tempered, architect named Luca don’t hurt either.
