The following story is the result of a game I played with a fellow writer, a fan of Fantasy and Manga. Basically, I offered to email him the beginning of a story. He would write the next part and send it back to me. I would write the next part, send it, and so on. But he didn't have enough time to take part in this little game. I then suggested that we write a story in the form of a serial and send the parts to each other by e-mail, once a week, for two months. My plan was to turn it into a summer mini-series. Caught up in the story, this attempt lasted through autumn, and winter, and was finished in spring. So, my first thanks go to you, Jeremy. I'd also like to thank the most diligent critic of my writing: Renault. Your corrections and comments were very relevant and were a great help. I hope that I will, at long last, be able to buy you a drink and discuss it with you face to face. As we haven't seen each other for more than five years, we probably won't even recognise one another anymore. Through my writing I have had the privilege of meeting a lot of different people, from all walks of life, but mostly waiters and waitresses in the (far too) numerous Brussels cafés, Exki, Pain Quotidien, and others, where I write, as well as the hotel staff in the Novotel, where I was living. I thank all of you for your kindness and the interest you showed in my stories. Writing is a solitary process, but has its rewards. What's a Doctor Who?
"Vixen!" He growled behind us. The sound of roaring engines deafened me. I could barely hear anything. We jumped down the steps and onto the pavement below. I looked back and saw Max just jump down the whole flight. Without hesitation too. The Doctor pulled me across the lot, "Vixen!!" I could hear the anger in his voice. Oh, it was either run or die for me now. I looked back once again and saw his eyes were dead black, his teeth looked sharper from a distance, and I was so scared, he looked like his muscles grew bigger, "Run!" The Doctor yelled at me. I focused on running. Where are we gonna go anyhow? I don't think Max is ever gonna stop chasing me. Not until I'm dead. Who am I? I'm a girl with no past. Well, not a good one anyway. I've had a terrible childhood, nothing good about it and now it carries on into my adult life. Well, what am I to do? Nothing, exactly. There's nothing I can do. But I did meet this one guy at the airport one day. Kind of a weird dude considering he calls himself The Doctor and seems to bring along girls to his "Trips". Yeah, that's how I got caught up in all of this, just comes up to me and asked "Do you wanna go on a trip?" Yeah, like that works. Ha! Well, funny enough, it did and now Max is after me and I'm running around with this guy. By the way they sounded as they hit the street, you assumed whoever was nearing you was wearing dress shoes. Probably some rich man who felt sorry for the little girl alone on the dark cold streets. You kept your eyes down. The sound stopped, you could see the black dress shoes in your view. They were an inch or two away from your boots. Your eyes trailed passed the shoes, up black trousers, to a black tailcoat and grey vest, then finally to a face. A handsome male looked down at you. "You have incredible skills with those swords you carry around on your back. I'd like to offer you a position. Room and board would be included. No experience necessary." He leaned closer to your ear and whispered, "I'll teach you everything you need to know." }{ You were a normal everyday teenager, killer, but then a fancy annoying man found you and offered you a job working for the Queen's Watchdog. Then you were a normal maid, who killed any unwanted visitors, until an old partner visited you and offered a job you couldn't resist taking. The job is simple, kill Ciel Phantomhive. It's a wild ride and It is not even that good and I would change A LOT of the words in there cause some might be offensive or triggering to others. I sit down on my bike looking around the school parking lot. Listening to music, I stand up begin to walk through the student-less parking lot. Honestly, it's not like I meant to be late. "You new here beautiful?" one of the guys asked. "What do you think Einstein?" cocking my brow. "Ohh. Challenging? I like." he says walking towards me, about two inches away. I look at all the men in the group who had their jaws dropped, all except for one, "Touch me one more time, and I'll brake your arm in two." I stand and kick his back so he falls on the concert. "Anyone else?" they stare at me blankly. "Didn't think so." When fuck boy tries to get up, I take my foot and slam him back down. Looking back at the boys, I say, "Later boys." It's a story/one shot composed of a rather particular ship, and of course, very unreal. Two respective antagonists of their anime. I know very well that many will not approve the idea. But we are all free to write what we want, right? Maybe later, after the publication, I could think that it was a really bad idea, very bad. But right now, I don't have that view yet. Sometimes you don't need to be the smartest, or the fastest, but you do need to be wisest. They say the blood runs deeper than water, and I believe it, because even though the people that we love can turn on us and begin to hate us, they are only human, meaning that soon they will begin to see how short life really is and how it is not to be wasted. People who seem perfect and they look like they have no floors'; they are the people who are suffering, like I was. But I found my savior in the most uncommon place. He was able to look through my mask, he saw the cracks, and tried to fix the broken girl that hid away deep inside the girl who only wanted to be seen as 'fine'. I slowly began to find comfort and safety in him, and I did the same to him. We were two broken people becoming whole. Someone once said when you pass, if you can count your true friends on one hand you are beyond lucky, and I even though I did not like the person that lay before me, I know that he once had true friends, including me. I'm a 17 year old girl who has suffered more than any other, beginning to believe that 'Hope' was just another word the people throw around. Until I fell in love with a badboy.
