Amelia Grace Cate Walker moved to New York with her mother. After beginning in a car wreck and causing her to be paralyzed from the waist down, She is lucky to be alive. Her other Family not so lucky.
With 2 years of Physical Therapy, Cate is up and running again. She starts as an eighth grader at John Quincy Adams Middle school. She meets new friends and an old one. 16 year old Danae's life is slowly going downhill with trying to get a job and get into college. His mum doesn't make it any easier though. She's hot headed and is always annoyed at Danae because he looks just like his dad, who his mum has just divorced. His best friend Eden is having problems with her boyfriend and Danae slowly develops feelings for her. They hang out and play video games once a week, which is the highlight of his weeks. He doesn't want to jeopardise his friendship by telling Eden he has romantic feelings for her, until he gives in shortly after their shared kiss. Btw I imagine Danae similar to Cole from the Netflix Series: My Life With The Walter Boys. And I imagine Eden to look like a brunette version of Sarah from Outer Banks.
