Who exactly is the reflection in the mirror? Where exactly is that place in the background? Many people think "That's my image and my bedroom behind me". But what if you're wrong? Have you ever second- guessed yourself? What if it's actually a different person entirely and not just your identical image?
One day I was an ordinary girl then the next I was an outsider when I slipped through my mirror and landed in the warped version of our world waiting on the other side.

Waking up on the edge of a cliff in an unknown world wasn't part of the plan. Neither was having absolutely no memory of how I got here. But here I am-confused, probably high, and screaming into the void. With no clue what to do next, I do what any sane person would: throw a tantrum, curse at the sky, and accidentally "befriend" a weird, tiny creature that may or may not be magical. Now, lost in a strange world with only my questionable survival instincts and a feathery menace at my side, I have one goal-figure out what the hell is going on. Almost seven years ago, Ryan broke a mirror and was transported into the Reflection to face seven years of bad luck in a cursed world. Now he is only a few weeks away from leaving the Reflection and going back to his own world after seven years of suffering. But things in the Reflection are becoming rapidly worse every day leading up to his departure. He along with his friends must embark on a journey to the countryside to try to survive. Meanwhile, thousands of teams of Reflection soldiers are doing all that they can to eradicate humans from their world so that their own can take over the human world. The human flesh-prison replaced with the unlimited options of a shapeshifter, the soul has now a magic-filled world to explore. Grow fur for a mountain hike, grow gills and fins for a deep dive. It's time to catch up on decades worth of missed travels and activities. But who wants to deal with the flesh-craving predators called shapeshifters? One of the reflections and one of the reflected. One watches the other through mirrors. One woman, a single devoted mom in her early twenties, has only know this way of life since the day she was born, as does everyone else. She soon finds herself teaming up with her dear friend, a forced serial killer, to find a way to break this mysterious bond their world has with the reflected. When I woke, I wasn't human anymore. The last thing I remember is the impact-a heavy blow, a flash of light, and then darkness. But when my eyes opened again, everything had changed. I can't explain what happened, or why I've been reborn this way. A dragon? How could this be real? As I stare at myself in the mirror, I don't even recognize the reflection. I'm a married woman, and I can't get over that. I'm only wearing red lace underwear at the moment. I wear sexy panties and bras now because I have someone who's seeing them every day other than myself. Does he wear special boxers...? I'm not ready to think about Silas that way yet. It is still too weird. I am a little surprised that I haven't had a meltdown yet. I've never had a panic attack before, but my life has been turned upside-down. I have a pretty damn good excuse to have one. Everyone is probably expecting that I will. They may even be surprised that I haven't yet. Eight years erased... Eight years to learn... I stare at my reflection in the mirror. I'm still me... just older. I rub lotion into my face, examining it closely. Still me. Same blue eyes. Same shallow dimples in my cheeks. Same lips that cover straight teeth that my parents paid a lot of money for. I step back and take in my body. A little curvier then I remember, but not by much.
