I Am Sleeping Beauty is about the fairytale like story of Lady Cruz, a narcoleptic girl who struggles to live together with his single dad. Narcolepsy is a sleeping disorder wherein you experience excessive drowsiness and immediate sleep no matter where, when, and how. As she struggles to survive, she'll accidentally meet Jay Sebastian, the heir and current managing officer of Sebastian Group of Company. Due to his pleasing appearance and kindness, Lady will immediately fall in love with him. Unfortunately, because of Lady's urgent and crazy situation, their meeting will get delayed. Fate will keep them together, on the other hand, as Lady's job interview happens to be under Jay's supervision. He recognized Lady and appointed her to be his secretary.
Their story will turn around as Lady finds out about Jay's fear of falling in love and as she discovers her tragic past that led her to have Narcolepsy. Their family background will be of much issue as well due to the complicated past of the Cruz and Sebastian clan. These are about to be revealed as Pres. Grey, grandfather and CEO of SGC, and Dr. Lee Perez enter to their story.
The fancy yet intriguing twist of events will take place as they both discover the reality of living in their different worlds, and struggle to survive on their own battles. Will they have a fairy tale like ending?
