The year is 2176. The catholic church has taken the lead of what is left of the world after the nuclear war of 2018. The war had opened hell, and demons are still roaming the world; at least that is what humanity was taught by the strictly catholic government. People live in camps formed by the officials, are forced to follow by strict rules and under well coordinated oppression of the mind.
Nineteen-year-old Esther has not lived a single day without prayer, only eaten the food provided by the kitchen of her camp and has never doubted the rules of the Holy Bible. But one day, she wakes up to an intruder in her bedroom: Rachel, an escaped prisoner and an atheist, who has some interesting views on the government and a dangerous plan which now involves Esther, too.

Six teenagers will be put in different situations and try to survive. Think of it as a video game. Each time they die, they wait until the next round to come back alive. The only way for it to stop is if at least more than 3 of the characters survive each event. They said that "Changing is part of LIFE.", at least that's what the CSD (Change and Save Department) used to say. They thought they created a "cure". A cure to save many people's lives from sickness, cancer, and all. Unfortunately... They were wrong. It was fine at first... However, their first test subject? It was for no good. Instead of a cure, they made a "virus". The virus is incurable for now. Many people protested against the CSD and the government. It changed.. but it was never saved... They said that once they bit you, in an hour the virus will spread throughout your body and kill you, then you'll be alive but not like you used to be. There are many survivors, but there are also many who have been turned into monsters. They call these monsters, "zombies". The CSD promised that they'll find a cure, but much-lost hope, lost hope for being alive, lost hope for survival. A 17 yrs. the old girl was in between that. Everything might sound and look horrible but she never lost hope for survival. "I'm running out of food.." she kept on talking to herself since there was no one but her. She saw a grocery store nearby so she checked it out if there were food, and fortunately, there was. She stuffed the food in her bag until she heard something. "Is someone there?" She asked, she hoped it wasn't what she thought about but there it was. The zombie's legs were twisted so it will have a hard time catching her. However, she never encountered that close. She stuffed the last food in her bag and ran. She ran to the girl's restroom. When she opened the door there were zombies! It almost caught her but fortunately, nothing happened to her. She ran back but there were more! "Please don't say this is how I'm going to die!" She said to herself. Is she going to die? Who will she meet? Will they survive this cruel world?? This memory loss caused her to forget parts of her past and she has been fighting this condition ever since. Hannah's life changes completely when soldiers in blue and red vests meet her and say things that make her even more confused. Being constantly chased and attacked by them for unknown reasons, she finds shelter and something to fight for when she joins a hidden and humble group of survivors in Colorado. As time goes by, Hannah takes comfort in the shelter and begins to share her problems with the survivors of the group. She learns new things and shares what she has learned with her former groups in other parts of the United States. Doubts arise as more things happen and solutions appear when she finds out that the biggest problem of all has been right under their noses all along. Literally. This story takes place after the events of the Dying Light game franchise. I hope you like it and have fun.
