An deadly virus breaks and spreads worldwide, killing thousands of people worldwide. Sam knows she's played a part in all of this, somehow its all connected. She doesn't know how. She doesn't know why. But she needs to figure it out, before she breaks.All Rights Reserved

Megan couldn't believe her eyes. Her brain was muddled with confusion she couldn't get rid of, no matter how many times those strangers reassured her and explained what happened. But she had to accept it, even though it didn't make any sense to her. Megan had been with her mother every step of the way since everything turned to chaos, beginning just a year before, and now she was nowhere to be seen. And on top of that, she had the zeds to deal with. Ghastly creatures that used to be human, carrying a virus that's spread through a constant hunger for flesh from the host, spreading through bites and scratches. It didn't exactly make it easy to prevent getting infected. Things could have been worse, though, Megan thought. She could've been left all alone to ponder over her thoughts and fear over the future. It'll only be within the time spent with the new group will she find out that everything's not as happy and welcoming as it had seemed. These people had a few secrets of their own, including the real reason they took Megan in. Keeping her abilities a secret, she tries to lay low, but when her family finds themselves battling an extraterrestrial that's been reproducing and feeding on humans for five years now, across the borders of the water. Jenny battles with the thought of exposing her true self or letting innocent people die because of a secret she's not ready to reveal. What kind of abilities does poison from an octopus, a sting from a swarm of jellyfish, and an electrical surge from a pair of electric eels, give a person? discover the answer, in this deep watered, electrifying, and nerve wracking coming of age tale. ... I didn't know what to do... so I did nothing. There I was, sprawled onto the ground. Just looking at the sky. Wishing... praying... pleading that it would lift me up and take me far away. The bitter air stung my skin like wasps, but still I laid there my legs bare and my body now trembling, did I care though? Would it be so bad for everything to just stop? ___________________________________________ At a young age Zara had entire life was stripped away from her, but she didn't give up she built a new one... only to have that one torn apart as well. It seems everywhere she goes there's trouble lurking around the corner. There's no escape, and no entrance, it only is. Not only is her mate not what she wanted but yet again a curve ball is thrown into the mix leaving Zara's life in jeopardy. What will happen to Zara will she over come this new problem? Will her life ever be normal? Will her mate change? Or better yet does she want him to? A/N: This is my first story I haven't plotted it I'm just writing and seeing where it gets me. Those said people could be living the best they could, some ought to find a "cure". Through the journey we follow Leo who has just lost his family from the infected. He doesn't want to, but he needs to trust others in mean to survive. He came to trust Akari who was part of a group that took him in. A trustful bond that turned stronger.
