The faint groans of the living corpses were masked by the fog. They were heard from a distance. Heard, but ignored. As long as they weren’t in sight, they didn’t pose a threat. The once chaotic city was now hauntingly peaceful. Often they would spot their eyes peering at them through the fog, waiting to feast on their flesh.

It was very...foggy for some reason. The fog is so thick I could barely make out the shape of my hand a few feet in front of my face. I can't even tell if I am wearing any clothes or not. I assume so though all I can feel and sense is fog. The fog moved and swirled all around me as if alive, pushing me prodding me to take a step forward.
