Julian is an almond who has finally grown enough to be taken to "the big busy tree," Father Tree often referred to it as. there he is placed in to a cardboard box with a many other almonds to be bought and, well, you know what happens after they're purchased.
after being dropped off, he tries to socialize with the other almonds but they're all busy hiding from the hungry humans. one day he looks over at the peanut basket and sees a lone peanut sitting on the edge of the box. Julian instantly has feelings for this peanut.
In "Separated by Cardboard," Julian will face many obstacles to get to this anonymous peanut.
