California teenager Renèe Wayland begins her years at Marlborough High, she begins seeing strange creatures which worries her mother Emmaline Wayland.
Later, whilst hanging out with her bestfriend Elise Blackwell, Renèe witnesses a horrifying scene seeing Cameron Dallas ending a mans life, who he claimed to be a black magic user. Meanwhile, Emmaline rings her daughter urgently warning her to go to her dearest friend Alec Glacier, Emmaline had been taken from her house by the assistants of a demon. Whilst Renèe returning home in a hurry she finds her house to be full of strange symbols and her mother to be found nowhere, she goes around searching nearby places that her mother would be at, unfortunately Renèe gets attacked by a formation demon behind an alleyway. Cameron appears and slays the demon, he explained that he and her mother are from an organisation 'The Moon Demon Company' these individuals that have inherited the powers of a warrior to kill all demons and black magic users from the underworld. Renèe inherited her mother's powers which has the abilities to possess demonic god weapons.

(I got inspired by my favourite author and the movie City Of Bones, so decides to make a similar book with changes)
