"Daddy?" I whispered in fear. The anger radiated off of him like a haughty gleam, which left me petrified.
His eyebrows furrowed. "Don't call me that, do you hear me?" He growled. He tightened his strong grip on my wrists and pinned me down on the bed rigidly. The bed dipped to the point that I was buried within his sheets.
I hesitated and persisted under his hold, gulping in confusion.
"Bu-."
"Baby girl, I adore you. But the universe doesn't want us together." He rasped. Adam buried his face into the crook of my neck and pressed a swift kiss onto my bare collarbone. I shivered under his body and felt the sensation of the kiss linger longer than it should have.
