The story of two misunderstood people running from their pasts as the terrors of a modern yet corrupted world constantly follow.
Mason Wells is only trying to live a better life in honor of her brother, a victim of a serial killing at only thirteen years old. A current member of the LAPD, all she wants is justice for others going through the same loss, however she finds difficulty in doing so as people continue to wrongfully brand her as her brother's murderer.
Dan Smith, the once lively and energetic Bastille frontman's life begins to shift tragically after what he thought to be the beginning of a perfect relationship spirals into painful abuse due to his girlfriend's mental illness and drug addiction.
When Mason decides to take a second job as Bastille's security guard, their stories converge in a way that some might consider crazy, and others might consider fate.
