"Lyra baby girl, I need you to listen to mama no matter what" mamas eyes started to well up with tears, her voice came out shaky. I need you to stay in here until daddy or one of the maids you recognize come for you, Don't open up nor make a sound no matter what, even if you hear...things" before I could answer mama she pulled on one of the large books causing an opening in the shelve, pushing me in she apologized slamming the shelve back to its normal state. "mama!" I tried pushing, banging, kicking and screaming at the dark wall to open which I came from but it didn't budge a bit. Sighing in defeat I slumped down the wall silently whimpering for my parents. All of a sudden I heard mothers scream from outside the wall, she was still in the library... "you wretched demon!" I heard the male stranger scream at mama with much distaste towards her, mama kept screaming to the top of her lungs. I squeezed my eyes shut, vibrating with fear for mama. There was a thump then every thing went silent that moment... I felt something warm and sticky start to soak my hand, jumping up I wiped my hand on my dress confused-- the strong scent of blood hit me like a wave but this wasn't just any blood, the scent was familiar, smelling the air one more time I froze to the familiar scent, this was mamas blood.

*Dark Lust Series * It was eight p.m. and oddly my house was dark, I got an eerie chill as I unlocked the front door. I stepped inside and struggled to find the light switch and someone cleared there throat. "Do not be alarmed."The man replied. "Says the shadowy figure in my living room." I snorted. He clicked on the light switch next to the couch and it revealed the most beautiful man. "I have come for you Adlyn."He smiled. "You truly have the wrong girl and where the hell are my parents?" I replied. "You belong to me now." He bit out. "I don't belong to anyone."I seethed. I felt a gush of wind and before I could even blink he had me pinned against the wall. "What are you?"I whispered. He chuckled ignoring my question and he leaned in close running his fingers through my hair. "My parents will come looking for me."I stated in fear. "No they won't because long ago they sold your soul to a demon so they could have all of this."He chuckled again. I looked around the large home I had grown up in with parents that loved me. "I don't believe you."I seethed. "Well the proof is written in blood."He growled. He pulled out a rolled up tan paper and shoved it close to my face. Written in what looked like blood was my parents name on a contract for my soul....
