Many moons have passed since Shadowclan was lost. The clans have moved on with only the stories to tell, of the rogues, of the dark forest and of their fallen clanmates.
That is until Alderheart, the Thunderclan medicine cat receives a prophecy from Starclan. The cats are confused about what this could mean for their lives, and what the future might hold for the clans.
Meanwhile, Aspenleaf, daughter of Silverstar finds herself working tirelessly to meet her mother's demands of her, feeling all the while that she is destined for something more. A destiny however that she does not desire. What does Starclan hold in store for her, and will she ever be able to simply blend into the crowd?
Story is set some time into the future. It's my imagining of what might happen if the cats never retake Shadowclan from the rogues.
I forgot to mention in the early chapters, some of the characters are OC's which members for an RP group gave their permission to be used. When a final Allegiances list is created it will have these details on it. Until then, I'll be editing in the name of the owner of the OC's at the end of the chapters.

Every disaster that threatens a Clan means StarClan will come and save you. You'll receive a prophecy that will save everything you love. The peril is vanquished in a battle, and there is no need for sleeping with one eye open anymore. StarClan will forever watch over you from your nest and keep you safe. With leaf-bare creeping up, the Clans are preparing for the harsh weather. Preparing for another season should be like gathering moss for the elders, but not this time. This time, the Clans are struggling just to assemble a hunting patrol and maintain borders. Forcing time out of daily tasks is asking the impossible. Leaf-bare is going to take the remaining lives of the cats that are lucky enough to even make it through leaf-fall. A silent storm will sweep across them and leave no traces; they might as well prepare to die in the white flakes of leaf-bare, covered up by mounds of snow, lost and forgotten. {This is a rewrite of my story and just like before, copying isn't allowed} {This is also a work of fanfiction!
