A biohazardous outbreak has lead to the death of over half of the world's population. However, those who died from the outbreak have risen from their graves as mindless, flesh-eating creatures. They've overrun the National Guard and the government itself. Now, it's up to the remaining survivors to rebuild society, before the dead tear them apart. Aaron Lee, a married man living an average life, experiences the first few minutes of the outbreak before going into a coma. When he awakens, he finds the world in ruins, with the dead crawling everywhere. He and a small group try to survive through the undead apocalypse. But the dead will always find their next meal, and the living aren't much different.
