Surviving Middle School

For Maddie Hays starting middle school sounds fun, but on the first day of school Maddie ' s best friend Courtney seems different. In elementary school Courtney and Maddie were best friends, they both thought that boys had cooties, both thought that make-up was stupid and neither of them cared if they were popular or not.
But now everything has changed about Courtney, she started wearing make-up, wearing different clothes, she started liking boys and worst of all Courtney started hanging out with snotty rich brat Channell. Channell, the one who bullied Maddie her whole life. For Courtney to hang out with her makes Maddie feel awful.
