What happens when the individual freedoms we all overlook and take advantage of are ripped away from us? What happens if the result leaves the government with all of the power and the people with none? American citizens have been free their entire lives, and when their world crumbles around them, the country is in chaos after a single moment changes the lives of millions.

Leslie, her brother Grant, and everyone they care about are about to find out first hand what countries with no freedoms look like; They no longer need textbooks on them, don't have just attempt to imagine it, because they live it. After their own little section of our world collapses, they flee the country they were raised in to try and escape with their lives.

All of this leaves the people of America asking the two questions that irk them all. How did this all happen, and will anything ever be the same again?
