I am a Poet, surfing the rainbows... Squandering the few surviving winks in my dreamy eyes. I, a well accompanied loner, saunter amidst the fireflies. Like a wandering dream, my restless mind meanders, "Will the same butterflies return to the flower?" It wonders. Mt. Sensan-Ghi
A collection of poems and short stories interwoven in a larger narrative that served as a way for me to work through burnout. The tale of Estavir is a metaphorical dive into my burned out mind as he searches for deeper meaning and climbs Mt. Sensan-Ghi filled with trials to test his heart. This is my first published work of fiction. It was conceptualised during a burnout I experienced back in 2017. With support from family, friends and a professional with whom to talk, I tried working through the burnout over the period of a year. At each stage of my journey I created a story to help me process. It's bizarre, a bit dark slightly existential and close to my heart. Please enjoy.Complete

Surviving Love
"I'm not scared of you, I'm scared of history repeating itself" I whispered out. He grabbed my chin to make me look him in the eye, "I didn't hear you". Looking into his eye I repeated "I'm not scared of you, I'm scared of history repeating itself". His gaze was so intense "Peaches I would never hurt you I promise", his gaze slipped from my eyes to my lips as my tongue slips out to moisten my dry lips. He had this look in his eyes how he owns her how she belongs to him. But for her he can he can kill and get killed would burn down the world for her but not let a single flame touch her. Here she is. I can see the slope of her spine through that thin shirt. She's made of angles I ache to smooth with a hand, but I'd use my lips if she asked. I brush her knuckles with mine. Her skin is cold, but she flips her palm for more contact. I lace our fingers. It's enough to make her look at me. As those kaleidoscopic eyes meet mine, I hold my breath. Then she sets her lips just under my jaw. It rips the air from my lungs. It's the softest thing I've ever felt. "What was that for," I breathe.
