Alfred always seemed to be a happy person, and in general, he was. He was the quarterback of his high school football team, and everybody in school loved him (even though he was always the somewhat annoying person in the classroom). He did have some insecurities about things like his body weight and the fact that he's bisexual; which he's never told a single person before in his life. Ever since freshman year, Alfred has had a crush on a Russian student in his physics class, but he's been far to nervous to start up a conversation with him. One day, they get assigned a project to work on together, and after getting to know each other, they start to fall in love, and the Russian convinces Alfred to go to college and work in a space program. Everything is great, until the newest version of 1970's 'Houston, we have a problem,' is called, and both of their worlds rocket into a downward spiral.

When high school came around, she changed her appearance and personality. Ashtynn basically became a delinquent--she got into fights, skipped classes, and trashed school property. Everything was going "well" until her real identity was uncovered and her life went back to the way it was before...until the star boy suddenly transfers to her school.
