INTRODUCTION

Dominant, Political center, Face of Supremacy, Eloquent, Influential and above all is its undeniable charm. The masses are forcefully pulled into its being and inevitably constitute its structure. A structure too closely packed that despite being variably composed it seems homogenous. Its composition is beyond complex and has numerous segments and sectors, so delicate that if one piece is removed or shifted, fatal disturbances and total collapse.

The city of Delhi - An amalgamated Framework.

A statement so true, a projection of how the majority portrays the city of Delhi. An admixture of so many different ingredients, sustaining and living. Delhi is not just a location or a map spread in the four coordinates, it is a throbbing living being.

To a struggler from the countryside aspiring metro life, the city fails in a lot of aspects. It compels him to stay satisfied with the bare minimum amenities, to starve frequently, to breathe in poison, to unwillingly accept atrocities, to live less and wrestle to survive.
But has the infrastructure and employment shadowed all the failures? How is this bond working?

Shadows of Delhi is a portrayal of people of Delhi, people with so many stories and reasons of their inclusion in the framework. Their reasons and their perspectives, their rationale of being in a lattice they are tired of living in.
