"We need to stop this. Now." His voice small yet firm. My whole body tensed.
Stop? Now?
Initially, I felt shocked and confused. Then came sadness and anger. Then I just felt... defeated. I knew this was coming. Our arrangement isn't exactly for long term. He asked me if I wanted this in the first place, I said yes even though I knew the risks of having this arrangement. My arms fell to my sides.
"Why?" In a small and broken voice I asked, wanting to know the reason. At least, I deserve that much. An explanation. His body stiffened once again and still refusing to look at me. I just stared at his back.
"You have feelings." He mumbled.
I just snickered. Busted.

It's funny how love can bring out the best and the worst in you.

Carmella Robins is on her last year of college. She aims to be a great teacher someday. She's finishing her bachelors in basic education majoring in English. She loves kids and they love her back.
