Fifteen months ago, Ada's world tilted once more. Barely had she accepted her life in the United States, Jed's sudden departure shattered all the peace that has only just appeared in her. Not willing to go through the pain of saying goodbye again, she simply distanced herself from the boy with a crooked smile, forever. Or so she thought. Being a freshman in Julliard, one of the best music schools in the world, Ada comes to live in the New York City. Her suddenly developed sympathy for coffee brings her into a place where her paths cross with that one person she never expected to see again. Further turns of events only bring her closer to the boy who still has the power to make her heart skip a bit. At first, Ada is determined to never make herself so vulnerable again. But as the time passes, she can't help but ask herself: maybe, despite all the obstacles on their paths, the universe wants her and Jed to be together?

And yet, every time their eyes met, something shifted, an unsettling pull that she couldn't quite explain. She didn't know what it meant, or why it unsettled her so much. But one thing was certain: the longer she stayed here, the more complicated everything would become...
