In an unnamed town, there is a river which has been crossing the mountain landscape for centuries. It is near this river João, one of the town's elders, takes a trip down the memory lane. He feels his time is flowing into the ocean that is death, thus he re-evaluates his own life before he reaches the ultimate destiny.
