Normal life
There are no hunters. No monsters. No demons. No angels. No heaven or Hell. Mary and John are still alive and Dean lives with them and little bro Sam in their house in Lawrence. Dean is transferring to Lawrence High School where he meets punk Cas. Dean tries to focus on his schoolwork and 4.0 GPA. Since he never became a hunter, Dean becomes a straight A student. Cas, on the other hand, struggles with violent brothers, an absent father, and an alcoholic mother. These unlikely two become the best of friends and later fall in love, fighting against all odds to be happy together.
I don't own anything from Supernatural which this story is based on and the characters and some plot line in the story come from the TV show.

"Against All Odds" is a song by Phil Collins. I thought it was a fitting title and the song is great too, so I used the song title to name my story.

Dean and Sam have been travelling through many cities with their parents. With that they had to go to new schools every few months. It was not a big deal to them because they knew it didn't matter if they screwed up cause they would be gone in a while. But now their uncle Bobby got into their way and made them stay in Lawrence.
