Although now dead, his wishes have now gyrated into an obligation in order to acquire the inheritance she needs for college. Stuck in between marrying Carl Wiesel and letting life takes its course. She weighs the outcomes of the situation she has at hand, with assistance from her psychiatrist Kevin Scott. Living in a low-income neighborhood and barely making ends meet, Avaya and her brother James embark on a misson to take care of their ill mother and younger brother and sister. With James being the new leader of his deceased father's Drug Cartel and Avaya working as a janitor in the Scott's Enterprise. It doesn't take long until she realises she must choose her drug dealing family, Carl's abusive behaviour, or Kevin's racist political family to survive.
