Despite it being well past sunrise, the house was dark. I had woken up with a start, hearing the sound of a car below but now as I lay awake, I was in even more of a panic. "Don't make a sound." She whispered as she clasped a hand over my mouth, "The house is surrounded. They're going to kill us. They're going to kill the countries." ... It is gradually nearing to two decades since Taishya Rovanoff ran away with her twins and despite the media taking the world by storm, great tensions are underlying once-happy friendships with the nations. When a young and perhaps too-curious state comes across some files, she decides it is her own personal mission to solve the missing-twin mystery. This, however, proves more challenging than not when old scars are reopened leading to a series of events which brings the world to its knees. With forgotten prophecies and mysterious attacks threatening the lives of once-strong countries, the world is inevitably falling apart. So how is it, with all the chaos going on, a missing lady, a set of twins, a naïve child, a sickly teenager, a frightened mother, a celestial body and a queen all bring about the darkest hour the personified nations have ever faced? How is it that the threads of the earth are slowly undoing to bring about the start of the end of the world? ... DISCLAIMER: The story, all names, characters, and incidents portrayed in this production are fictitious. No identification with actual persons, places, buildings, and products is intended or should be inferred. The only things that I own are the plot, Taishya and any other OC's I might decide to include. If I did own Hetalia, I wouldn't be writing this...actually, I reckon I would be on an island, basking in the sun and drinking a pineapple cocktail whilst my servants brought slices of nectarines. Hetalia and it's characters belong to their rightful genius owner, Hidekaz Himaruya...(seriously, that man is a god!).

[This is a rework of my first book ever, "What It Means To Be A Hero"] --- I do not own any claims/rights to the My Hero Academia verse, all rights go to Kosei Horikoshi. I only own the original characters I've added to the story, and the arts I add in the book. In case the art doesn't belong to me, I'll credit the said person in the comments. Peace. When the war finally reaches the village, she expected her life to end with her family. She never expected a man to appear and offer her a deal. Tales Of Wonder are short stories that are tied in to a novel I've had in my head for years. They are related to the novel and each other. These stories are mainly to motivate me and to test out different writing styles. Each short story will be written in different styles. They take place in a world where magic and science combine. The first story here, I admit leaves the rules of the world and how everything works a little vague but each short story will add more and eventually the novel will tie up the magic system. Any feedback is welcomed. Of course, let me know if you want more stories.

But at the heart of his story lies a long-lost connection-Saina Aunty, the woman who safeguarded his childhood memories, now living in Denmark. Determined to find her, Haroon and his friends set out on an unforgettable journey, one that reshapes their lives and leads to an emotional reunion. As Haroon publishes his first book, his world takes an unexpected turn when he receives a letter from none other than Ray Bradbury, the legendary writer. Invited to America, Haroon is offered an opportunity that could change his destiny-collaborating with literary greats, stepping into a world of boundless possibilities. But with this new path comes an internal struggle: Amid this crossroads, Haroon finds himself drawn to a new creative pursuit-manga. Inspired by his own journey, he crafts The Last Anomaly, a thrilling tale set in a world where supernatural abilities define status. His protagonist, Kael Vardhan, is the sole exception in a society where power determines one's worth. Born into a prestigious family but lacking any abilities, Kael is ridiculed and cast aside. Yet, he refuses to be bound by fate. Armed with nothing but his intelligence and sheer will, he constructs a new path-one where strategy, technology, and resilience can rival even the strongest powers. A seamless blend of fantasy, drama, and science fiction, The Last Anomaly is a gripping exploration of determination, identity, and the defiance of limits. But for Haroon, this story is more than fiction-it is a reflection of his own struggles and triumphs, a testament to the sacrifices that shape a dream.
