In the year 4000, where all technology has advanced to all areas of the world, the human race lives in a full scale Utopian society. Single rulers and hierarchies do not exist due to the use of representation. Representatives from each nation come together to make decisions. Each year a new representative is selected based on qualifications and then dismissed once his or her time is up, and the cycle continues on. This rotation is to ensure peace and prevent corruption from powers serving long term succession on a representative throne. At this point in time, destruction cannot penetrate the peaceful barrier that surrounds the Earth...unless if there is one who may think otherwise. On the surface all may seem well, but beneath the pseudo complete image is mysteries yet to unfold.

The United States, the United Democratic Republics, the United Fascist American States, and the United North American Kingdoms. Four nations, each with their own problems. Two states that a forbidden to enter. Difficult times. A quest for revenge, freedom, and supremacy. Problems arise. Deaths are unavoidable. Happiness is forgotten. Earth is under tyranny with very limited counties with freedom. Lies are the truth. The truth is erased. WWIV is 100% possible. The Earth stops rotating. Light and darkness is stuck on one spot for three months. Electricity is gone for three months. Is it God? Is it aliens? Is the Earth infected? Doesn't matter. The end is near.Complete

Wei Wuxian didn't even know he existed. Lan Wangji on the other hand never could let go. He stalked him for over ten years and finally approached him the night Wei Wuxian was drunk and blacked out. He took his obsession to a hotel room to have him throw up all over his clothes and then slip and hurt his back. Needless to say he stayed the night to keep him safe. In the morning when a hilarious misunderstanding occurs he convinces his crush to compensate him by marrying him and to his utter disbelief Wei Wuxian agrees, provided that they keep their marriage secret. After receiving the certificate they go their different ways. When Lan Wangji finds out that the Jiangs have not only fired Wei Wuxian but also kicked him out of home, he uses his resources to track his husband and shows up at his door with a pack of beer even though he doesn't drink.
