Pedestrians walk by them and all they feel is a shift in the wind, an invisible touch, or a quick fleeting feeling of unease. Luckily for those who are oblivious, a supernatural wing of the government defends our realm from certain destructions should the Demons decide to attack as a single unit.
Faerah Killfire was perfectly content with her life of hunting demons and making inappropriately timed jokes. She was skilled, fierce, and gorgeous.... Perhaps a little narcissistic too.
A discovery about herself leads her find out more than she ever bargained for. Everything she has ever known was barely scratching the surface to the depths of the demon world. More importantly, its origins and who rules it. The Devil.
