Having raided the Jedi Temples they have exhausted all of their known resources. The Emperor has tasked Lord Vader with finding the locations of the Kyber Caves. Vader targets Ashlie Storms a 14 year old girl who's father is one of the few Kyber extractors. Vader plans to use Ashlie's life to get him to spill the information. Ashlie's only hope of escape is successfully sending a message to the republic. A powerful red laser of an unseen weapon obliterates the surface of a planet. Shrieks, whispers and screams and then the sound of a lightsaber igniting. A fiery red saber but behind that saber is Rey, her hand twitches and the saber becomes a double-pronged staff. A maniacal evil laugh cackles. Kylo woke with a start and sat upright on his bed. Written after the first trailer dropped and finished before the film was released. Contains references to previous films, novelisations and comics. Meanwhile, Padmé raises Luke while working with Bail Organa and Mon Mothma to lead the fight against the oppressive Galactic Empire. Anakin is constantly tempted by the Dark Side. Padmé struggles to help the Rebels succeed. Their children mean everything to both of them. The story also features other characters we all know and love, such as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka Tano, Han Solo, and Boba Fett. Most of the story takes place 7 years after Revenge of the Sith. She gets thrown in to the mission when Obi-wan and Anakin split up. Obi-wan and Jade embark are trying to find Padme's bounty hunter only to find what may be the beginning of the Republic Clone Army.
