Birch has an average teenage life: an insane parent criticizing her every move, high school stress, nervous breakdowns, crappy friends, and nonexistent boyfriends.
And the overbearing weight of crappy, sappy sadness that she can't see. Or explain.
She doesn't like dairies. She doesn't like writing about her day. Or her life. Or how she's doing. Or how she's feeling.
Well, maybe.
One thing's for sure: Birch can tell you what she is thinking. So that's what she does.
